The ’97 Michigan Ice Hawks finished the year where they began, as champions. The Ice Hawks finished their Little Caesar’s season undefeated in both the regular season and playoffs as they beat Belle Tire Dearborn in the Norris (Yzerman) championship game, 3-1. This latest trophy is added to their other championships, including the 50th Annual International Silver Stick Bantam AA Championship; the St. Clair Shores Regional Silver Stick crown; the Bauer Invitational AAA Championship; and the Belle Tire Back to School Championship.The Ice Hawks finished the season ranked number 1 in the country by myhockeyrankings.com with a hard-earned 52-6-2 record.

The Grosse Pointe-based ’97 Michigan Ice Hawks continued their tournament successes this season winning the 50th Annual International Silver Stick Bantam AA Championship at McMorran Arena in Port Huron on January 29, 2012.
